Hatch
Say your idea. Get an app your friends can open.
Hatch is a plugin for Claude Code. You describe your idea, answer a few questions, and Hatch builds it and publishes it to a link you can send to anyone.
Watch an idea become an app.
Describe it. Hatch builds it one piece at a time.
- A page where friends say if they can comewaitingbuildingready
- A list of who has repliedwaitingbuildingready
- A reminder the night beforewaitingbuildingready
- A link you can send to everyonewaitingbuildingready
From idea to link in four steps
- Step 1
Set me up
Hatch checks your computer and helps with anything missing.
- Step 2
I have an idea
Say it in your own words. A short interview does the rest.
- Step 3
Build it
Hatch builds it, checks its own work and tells you what needs you.
- Step 4
Share it
Try it first. Then publish it to a link anyone can open.
I’ve tested this so you don’t have to.
Hatch is built on 20 years of human experience.

I know what good looks like.
I have built and shipped software for 20 years, so I know where things usually go wrong.
I understand the business.
I have been the developer and the director, and I am still learning.
So I test while I build.
I test Hatch as I build it, to find problems before you do.
What you need to start
Claude Code
Anthropic’s app, which Hatch runs inside.
Read the quickstartTwo free accounts
Hatch sets them up with you.
An idea
A booking page, a club tool, a party invite.
What you need to understand
Hatch does the building. Running it is your job.
It is never finished
Expect to go around the loop again and again.
You decide what comes next
You choose the features. Hatch builds them.
You help your users
Questions and problems will come to you.
Cloud computing
Your app runs on other companies’ servers. Hatch walks you through it.
Risks you carry as the owner
Security
Your app holds people’s details. Protecting them is your responsibility from day one.
Privacy
Privacy law sets how you collect and share personal information.
Industry rules
Some fields have their own laws, like Queensland property law.
Certification
Some customers only buy certified software. It takes time and money.
Legal paperwork
Terms of use and a privacy policy. Have a lawyer read them.
Taking payments
Card payments have their own rules. A provider like Stripe handles much of the work.
What Hatch is and is not. Hatch is a tool. It is not a lawyer, auditor or insurer. It can follow common good practice and point out risks it notices, but it cannot promise your app is secure, private or lawful. The responsibility is yours, so get professional advice for anything that matters.
Hatch helps you watch for problems.
Hatch checks its own work and points out risks it notices, so you can deal with them early. It cannot catch everything.
- Bug
- Privacy leak
- Surprise cost
- Security hole
Illustration only. Hatch does not guarantee that your app is secure, private or lawful.
What it costs to keep an app running
These are rough estimates. Your bills come from outside companies that host and run your own app, not from Cohdit. What you pay depends on the plans you choose and how much your app is used. Free plans cover showing friends, and a busy app costs more.
One plan. Everything included.

Questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Hatch explains each step in plain words, and you choose how technical it gets.
What do I need before I start?
Claude Code, which needs a Claude subscription from Anthropic. Hatch helps with the rest.
What does it cost?
The Hatch subscription above, plus your own Claude subscription. Hatch keeps every run under a cap.
Who owns what I build?
Hatch builds in accounts you own, so the files and the app are in your hands. Ask a lawyer if you need certainty about ownership for your business.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from the link on your welcome page or by emailing delon@cohdit.com. Your access ends when your subscription does. Anything already on your computer stays there.
